You can try to plunge it out. Take the stopper that came with the disposal and push it down in the drain and pull it back up. Sometimes this works. If not use a plunger. If that does not work you will have to take the Goose neck off and clean the skins out of there. Be careful with that drain opener stuff you put in there. If you have to take the drain loose then catch that stuff with a bucket, and don’t get it in your eyes. Good lick!!

i forget the name of the tool but it is a small rubber bladder that slides into the pipe, then you hook a water hose to it, that causes the bladder to swell up and seal tightly inside the pipe, once the bladder is filled it then shoots water under pressure down the drain blasting anything in its path down the drain, i have an attachment on my Kirby vacuum cleaner that uses air pressure instead of water, two cheep ways you can try right now is, 1 if you have a good shop vac you can connect the hose to the PRESSURE OUTPUT side and use a sock for the seal, or if you have a helper , 2 prepare for the possibility of a little water spillage take a garden hose and wrap a wet old sock around it and have your helper turn it on, while you hold the sock around the hose, this works the same way as the for mentioned tool, this has worked for me every time, i have personally used all these methods and they all work, just choose what you are comfortable doing

you probably just need to take off the p trap and clean it out. I did that too before. next time throw them in the trash.

FORGET chemicals. You need to PHYSICALLY remove the potato skins. Actually, the disposal itself is the answer. It WILL grind potatoes skins as long as you don’t put in too many at once and jam the blades. Look at the bottom of the disposal. There is a place for an allen wrench. Insert the appropriate size wrench and use it to MANUALLY turn the blades. depending on how much you have inside the disposal, you may have to alternate between unjamming the blades and operating the disposal several times.

Note: Attempting to force water though the disposal will either flood your kitchen of RUIN the disposal.

just take off the pipe that looks like a “U” under your sink. Everything will most likely be stuck in there.

If your bathroom sink is backing up, then the clog is further down the line and is blocking a drain pipe that your kitchen and bathroom sink share. Often this occurs and an elbow or change of direction.

Your best option at this point is to use a snake. The issue is whether you will be able to reach it with the type of snake you would buy at the hardware store. You may need to rent a power snake or bring in a drain cleaner service but that gets expensive.

If you have never used a power snake, it will get messy and it takes some finesse to make sure that it routes properly. One wrong turn and you could end up going up the vent pipe rather than down the drain line. Where you begin feeding is critical to the success of your task. You will probably need to disassemble your trap and start from there.
