My son had his IPOD charging and my 2 year old got it and threw it in the toilet! My daughter saw and got it out right away. Is it ruined? I feel so bad we just bought him a bunch of stuff for Christmas to go with it too and I don’t know with it being so close to Christmas if we would be able to buy him a new one before then. Should I take it to the apple store? Is there anything they can even do?

So I stupidly dropped my Ipod in the toilet a few days ago. I put it in a bowl of rice and left it alone for a few days and now it looks fine. There is no water in the screen or anything. When I plug it in it turns on, but then tells me I need to connect the ipod to itunes. After that it shuts off. When I plug it into the computer nothing happens. What should I do?

It works still but both of the cameras don’t work, and the sound will sometimes work but not very often, and the microphone doesn’t work. Is there anyway I can get any of them to work with a repair guy? Or is it broken for good…?
