Plumbing Problem- sounds like the shower is running, but it’s not.?

Author: From everywhere in the house, it sounds like someone is taking a shower. It isn’t a “humming” noise like I see described in other questions. It definately sounds like someone taking a shower.We can’t find evidence of leaking or moisture seaping through the walls. Does anyone know what the source of this noise could be? A friend suggested the water heater, but we aren’t sure. Thank you for any and all suggestions.

ok my family and i have moved in to a new home .but the plumbing system is all messed up.?
Every time we use the washer the system goes wacko. the toilet backs up with waste and so does the bath tub.MY QUESTION is what are my rights as far as a tenant ? you see the landlord has tryed to fix it 5times
Looking at buying a house with existing plumbing issues?
I am shopping for a house and found a house that I love for a cheap price but there is water damage from a leaking second floor bathroom. Should I consider buying it if i can get it cheap enough? And what’s cheap enough? Idk exactly what’s leaking but I know there is a bubble in the ceiling and multiple water marks on the first floor ceiling under the bathroom. It’s a HUD home so it’s sold as is. My bf and I are willing to do most of the work our selves but is it worth the risk of buying the house when we don’t know how bad the damage is?
