PostHeaderIcon Will a plumber fix a pipe that has mold on it?

I didnt realise that one of my pipes was leaking and it must have been leaking for some time because it has black mold growing off of it. I know mold is dangerous so Who do I call? Will a plumber fix it with that mold growing off of it?

Yes he will. He will replace the whole pipe while wearing a mask

Yes he will. Plumbers are paid $98 per hour plus parts. For that money, they will do almost anything involving pipes.

The reason there is mold on the pipe is because the pipe is leaking and is wet. If you have a plumber fix the leak which is the most important thing, that will take care of the mold.

the “mold” is only mildew and will not harm you. but with experiance please move the litter box and all the boxes and stuff that is in the way because if you haven’t noticed a puddle on the floor in that time frame the plumber will not clean your house.
